Truly Inspiring Story by the American Income Life General Agent Debbie Moke
If you’re in need of a heartwarming, inspirational success story, simply travel to New Zealand and ask American Income Life General Agent Debbie Moke about her life over the past year. Okay, since it’s not exactly easy (or practical) to jet set Down Under, we’ll save you the airfare and inspire you RIGHT HERE!
Debbie, a General Agent in Rotorua, New Zealand, has beaten cancer twice and been ranked fifth in the world by American Income Life — all in the past 10 months. While the hardworking, faith-driven Debbie admits it hasn’t been an easy ride, battling two cancers has made her realize the importance of her career selling life insurance with AIL.
Just weeks before Debbie was diagnosed with cervical and pelvic cancer, God gave her a vision about her illness and her upcoming success. “I had a dream and God told me I was going to have cancer. I had chemotherapy and radiation treatment. I’m now clear. I believe I was healed through my faith,” said Debbie.
After beating the odds, Debbie contracted with American Income Life and credits her success to the “awesome team” of 23 New Zealand natives that she manages. “What AIL has done for these guys is put them into a full-time career,” she says. “It has given me a mind-set that I can achieve anything.”
Debbie’s story shows the importance of what we do at American Income Life. One of every eight deaths worldwide is attributed to cancer—it has no boundaries*. It’s comforting to know AIL has passionate Representatives around the world who are dedicated to helping protect mankind. “I just love what I’m doing,” Debbie said. “I’m simply living a dream.”
