American Income Life Policies Can Help Underinsured People in the USA

A U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study shows that 49.5 million Americans were uninsured in 2010. This means about one in six Americans is uninsured. According to a Kaiser Family Foundation Study, people who are uninsured receive less care and have worse health outcomes following an accident, or the onset of a new chronic condition than those with coverage. In 2010, it was estimated that more than 250,000 American adults will die during the next decade due to the lack of health insurance*.

The size and scope of these figures is frightening. It’s likely that we all know someone whose life has been negatively affected by the rising cost of health care. Insurance helps give us the freedom to go to the doctor upon suspicion of illness versus holding back because of the staggering cost that comes with it. Insurance can help provide a financial cushion when a loved one is being medically treated and unable to work.

All Americans should have the right to seek medical help when they need it. Every American, by that very description alone, should not have to decide between finances and their health.

A Critical Illness policy or Cancer policy with American Income Life can help relieve the financial strain of recovery. What have your clients been saying about our polices? Let everyone know by commenting below! Or share an informational video about the American Income Life policies:
