The Flood Building
The Flood Building was constructed in 1904 and has remained strong-standing despite numerous earthquakes, weather conditions, and the threat of demolition. The Flood Building is a popular office location for many prestigious businesses in the city and stands as a reminder of the adversity the area has overcome*.
The building stands 12 stories high at Powell and Market Streets. Among many offices for small and large businesses visitors can find retail stores including the Gap, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Sunglass Hut, and the Watch Station.
