American Income Life / National Income Life CEO Roger Smith Video on Charitable Giving
Roger Smith, CEO of American Income Life and National Income Life Insurance Companies (AIL/NILICO), recently released a video on the topic of charitable giving. In this video he discusses Closer to the Heart, a long-term humanitarian project extending parent company Torchmark’s commitment to the community by making financial and service contributions to programs that provide hands-on assistance in the communities we visit.
In the video Roger Smith discusses the June, 2012 annual convention in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. While there, Closer to the Heart partnered with Food for the Poor (www.foodforthepoor.org), the largest international relief and development program in the United States. They help children and the poorest of the poor in countries throughout the Caribbean and Latin America by providing food, housing, healthcare, education, water projects, and emergency relief assistance.
