Roger Smith, CEO of AIL/NILICO, on New Years Resolutions

It’s a new year, which means now is the perfect time to make 2013 your best year ever with American Income Life and National Income Life. What resolutions have you made to ensure that happens? Are you going to devote more time to your career? Are you going to make it to Convention? Are you going to nab the next position up on the Company ladder? How about all of the above?

New Years resolutions are a tricky subject, considering less than 10 percent of people are actually successful in achieving them … but people who make specific resolutions are 10 times more likely to attain their goals than people who don’t*. So go ahead and participate in tradition and see how far it can take you. Make a list of what you want to accomplish in 2013, and then put it somewhere you can see it every day (at your desk, in your car, on your dresser, etc.).

I have every confidence 2013 is your year to succeed. Resolve to make it happen and then tell me how you did it in 2014. The future is bright for you and for the Company, so make sure your list is ready.
