American Income Life Success Story: Leading the Way

We love to feature American Income Life success stories on My Life at AIL! From SGAs who lead their Offices to city-wide prestige to Agents who are just beginning a career that will transform their lives, AIL is marked with excellence. This week we want to recognize another outstanding member of the team. After you read his story, we’re sure you’ll want give him a handshake and a pat on the back. But you can’t. He only has paws …

American Income Life and Bernard the Guide Dog

Meet Bernard, the guide dog sponsored by American IncomeLife

You met our Fidelco friend and guide dog nearly a year ago, after our SGAs teamed up to fund his intense, specialized training. We even named him Bernard, a name shared by American Income Life’s founder.

We’ve watched Bernard grow from pup to big pup to full-grown pooch. But don’t let his furry cuteness fool you. Like American Income Life Agents, Bernard is expertly trained and destined for greatness. And just as AIL aims to make a difference in the lives of veterans, after Bernard completes two years of training, he will become the assistant and pal of a veteran who has been blinded.

We call that a success! If a dog can do this much good, just imagine how you can better your community. How has Bernard inspired you? Let us know in the comments!
