David Ackerman Shares the Vision with American Income Life
If you got to attend American Income Life Leadership Academy at the Home Office last month we know you were inspired and motivated by hearing State General Agent David Ackerman’s story of success.
“If I didn’t have vision for my own career I wouldn’t be here right now. You have to start with the vision,” David says.
Accepting the Challenges of Success
David challenged Agents to make an investment in the recruiting process because it will pay off later. If you know the amount of business you need to write in a week, determine how many codes you need in order to hit that mark. David reminded attendees to invest the time required for success. How many people do you need to be coding every week to reach your vision?
“Every day you’ll have challenges. You have to overcome them to get to where it is you want to go,” David says.
David noted that in order for Agents to grow, their leaders have to go out of their way for them. Including an Agent’s vision with your own helps everyone reach their goals and stay accountable.
